Hey everyone!
I’m Georgia, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the newest osteopath at O-health. Having recently graduated from RMIT University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy), I’m really looking forward to starting my career here in Albury and getting to know the O-health community.
Why Osteopathy?
Originally from Shepparton, I’ve always had a strong passion for movement and staying active. From a young age, I was involved in sports like basketball, netball, and running. Like many people who enjoy sports, I experienced my fair share of injuries, which led me to my local osteopath. Seeing firsthand the impact osteopathy could have on my own recovery and performance, I completed work experience at my local clinic—and from that moment, I knew this was the career for me.
My Journey So Far
Throughout my studies, I worked as a sports trainer for three years, spending time with Coburg Football Club in the VFL and Greensborough Football Club in the NFNL. This hands-on experience gave me invaluable insight into injury management, rehabilitation, and performance support for athletes, while receiving incredible mentorship along the way. Now, I’m excited to bring those skills into the clinic to help patients recover, stay active, and feel their best.
Life in Albury & What’s Next
My partner and I recently made the move to beautiful Albury, and we’re loving exploring everything the area has to offer! Outside of work, I love to travel, go to the gym, and spend time with friends. This year, I’m also playing netball for the Albury Tigers, and I can’t wait to see how we go!
One of my proudest achievements was finishing the Gold Coast Marathon in 2022 with my dad, followed by the 21km Tarawera Ultra trail run in New Zealand in 2023. The scenery was absolutely stunning! I love setting challenges for myself and staying active, and I’m passionate about helping others do the same—whether that’s through rehab, performance, or simply moving with confidence.
